Event Preregistration Form
Event Payment / PayPal

If you would like to preregister for a three-day event, please click on the links above to submit the form and process payment. If you need to use an alternative payment method to PayPal, please contact us to make arrangements.

The preregistration deadline for each event is the Monday before the event date. If you plan on attending an event, we encourage you to preregister. This allows us to plan awesomeness for everyone attending, especially character-specific plot. Preregistration also gives you a better chance of getting the NPC and Clean Up assignment that you prefer. Additionally, and most awesomely, you get a $5.00 discount on the event cost for preregistering (excluding Junior CoR players).

Attending an event as a player earns your character +8 experience points, or EXP. Junior CoR players earn 3 EXP per event. You can gain up to two additional EXP per event, using either KP or by purchasing them. The maximum amount of EXP a character can earn at an event is 10. This is the standard package for playing a single character.

If you would like to play two characters during a single event, there is an additional charge. However, you will still gain +8 EXP for your secondary character and can also purchase or use KP for the extra +2 EXP. Which character is your main character (as opposed to your secondary) and what periods you play them is up to you. The maximum amount of EXP a secondary character can earn at each event is also 10.

If you plan on full time NPCing at an event, it is free. You will earn +4 EXP towards the character of your choice.

If you are PCing at an event, you can purchase Goodie Bags for $5.00 each. These bags contain random goodies such as in-game items, treasure, and plot tidbits. You can purchase up to ten goodie bags per character at each event.

If this is your first event, the attendance fee is waived! Additionally, we have a new player meet and a mentor system to help you get acclimated during your first event.

Food Service

CoR offers a Food Service package for $15.00 per event. This includes Saturday and Sunday breakfast, Saturday Dinner Feast, and Dayboard Self Serve Meals, Snacks & Beverages throughout the weekend. You can choose this option during preregistration. If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please let us know when you fill out a new player form and preregister for events. We do our best to accommodate all dietary needs. If you would prefer to bring your own food, that is fine! Our camp has two full kitchens, one which is reserved for CoR Food Service and one which is reserved for player use. There are also multiple grills located around the camp.

Additionally, many convenience stores and restaurants are located within easy driving distance of the camp. Regardless of your preferred method of acquiring sustenance, please make sure to clean up after yourselves. There are conveniently located trash receptacles and recycling bins on the camp. While we provide disposable cups for beverages, we urge everyone to bring a reusable cup, goblet, bottle, mug, or drinking horn to use instead. Anyone who does so will get an automatic +2 KP at Check-In upon presentation of your reusable drinking vessel.

Event & Camp Information

Our three-day events are held every other month at Amity Acres Day Camp in Barnegat, NJ. The address is 133 Jones Rd, Barnegat, NJ 08005.

Amity Acres is a beautiful camp. The camp has a huge lodge with heating, air conditioning, two kitchens, and showers. Be advised that the camp does not provide cots, mats, mattresses, or any other sleeping gear. You must bring your own. The camp also has a few yurt buildings, multiple tent sites, and a few small cabin sites. The camp-provided tents are not kept up through the winter months. During the colder months, we encourage everyone to sleep in the heated main lodge. If you choose to sleep in the yurts, cabins, or to bring your own tent for winter months, we advise you to pack appropriate cold-weather sleeping gear and heaters.

For off-camp food, supplies, modern lodging, or “civilization”, these can be found by taking Route 72 East towards Long Beach Island, or West Bay Avenue into downtown Barnegat. Be advised that the areas outside of the immediate camp surroundings get extremely busy during the summer months, and traffic will be heavy.

When you arrive at an event, please proceed to the Logistics Station for check-in. The Logistics Station is usually found at HQ, which is located in the sub-level of the main lodge. This is also where NPC Headquarters and our safety-room is located.

What To Bring

To attend CoR as a player, we recommend some basic gear. You can either make your own gear or purchase it, depending on your budget and needs.

  • A costume for your character. This can be as simple or elaborate as you wish.
  • Seasonal appropriate attire.
  • Weapons and/or spell packets for your character. Refer to the rules for weapon specifications.
  • A white headband. A strip of white fabric will do.
  • Sensible "camping worthy" shoes or boots.
  • Bug spray and sunscreen.
  • Seasonal appropriate sleeping gear, such as a sleeping bag, pillow and camp mat or mattress.
  • Personal toiletries (toothbrush, towel, soap, change of clothes).
  • Snacks, food, and/or money for food.
  • Water or refillable water bottle. If you bring a reusable drinking container, you will be rewarded with KP.
  • For NPC shifts or full time NPCing, we encourage plain black shirts and black nondescript shorts, pants, or sweats. We also encourage everyone to bring their phones with them to NPC shift, as we ask our players to take advantage of the photo capability and light source while on duty.
